Communications Coordinator
As the Communications Coordinator for the VPFO, Samantha Tsui assists with the design, development, and implementation of communication strategies to illustrate the true value of the work of the UBC and the VPFO portfolio. She is dedicated to forming meaningful and lasting relationships as well as expanding upon her own skills and knowledge within the field.
Sam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Digital Publishing from Simon Fraser University and has worked in the software technology and hospitality fields prior to joining UBC in 2019. She is also a certified PROSCI Change Management professional and a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt with the UBC Sauder School of Business.
Her international background and experience have equipped her with many versatile skills, including digital content creation, graphic design, intercultural communication, and more. In addition to responsibility for all digital channels and content management across the VPFO, Sam is the communications advisor to the VPFO’s new Operational Excellence department.
On the weekend you will find Sam embroidering old jeans, planning her next trip on a 14-page Google Doc, and discovering delicious eats around the city.
