Manager, Communications

Yvonne Kwok joined UBC in 2016 after working for a global investment management firm, where she managed the creation and delivery of client reports and publications. She brings a blend of skills in project management, graphic design, and has experience working in retail marketing as well as communications for a radio consultancy firm.

Yvonne is interested in working together with the UBC campus community to develop and meet strategic communications goals to support operational programs and activities. She leads communications and engagement activities for the VPFO’s Facilities and Safety & Risk Services (SRS) groups, leads the project management and graphic design specializations for the Communications & Engagement department, as well as providing leadership and oversight for the team’s integrated work.

Yvonne holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Publishing from Simon Fraser University, a Certificate in Project Management from UBC, a Certificate in Design from Emily Carr University of Art + Design. She is also a certified PROSCI Change Management professional and a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt with the UBC Sauder School of Business.
