Workshop session: getting your message across

Five easy tips to make your emails work for you

Creating successful written communications is always important in our day-to-day work. But with increased reliance on written messages while many of us work remotely due to COVID-19, it’s more important than ever to send clear and effective messages.

What does your email structure communicate about you as a sender? How can you use your subject line to drive an outcome? What do you need your recipients to do with your information? Learn how to get more out of your emails in this 15-minute session.

COVID-19 has challenged us to rethink many aspects of how we work, from taking meetings online to redesigning paper-based processes. It takes extra effort to be understood and stay engaged β€” especially when moving to less familiar digital communications. To help you succeed, Communications & Engagement is offering a lighting fast, 5-slides in 15 minutes weekly zoom series to build up your skills.
