VPFO Communications & Engagement is pleased to welcome Communications Strategist Olivia Chan to the team, effective October 12.

Olivia joins us to support strategic communications and engagement projects for the portfolio, including stakeholder research/analysis and comms relating to UBC’s budget process. She will be reporting to Annie Mullins, Manager, Strategic Initiatives, but working across the team and portfolio.

Olivia is a self-described people person, who is looking forward to working with our large and diverse portfolio team. She joins UBC following two years in marketing roles with medical diagnostics company LifeScan Inc, and brings with her a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management and Marketing from Simon Fraser University.

She is passionate about social media, technology, and food, running a popular Instagram food blog (@my_vancity) in her spare time through which she collaborates with local restaurants and shares hot tips on great things to eat in Vancouver.
