The VPFO Communications & Engagement team are working on key strategic communications projects to support the Strategic Directions of the VPFO.
The projects include:

VPFO stakeholder research and analysis
The VPFO Strategic Plan prioritizes establishing a portfolio-level stakeholder engagement strategy to improve and expand VPFO initiatives across all teams. When stakeholder engagement is done effectively it improves communication, gathers information for the organization, creates and maintains support for our work, reduces risk and the potential for conflict, and enhances the reputation of the portfolio through the improvement of customer service.

VPFO identity development framework
The goal of this project is to create a unifying identity for the VPFO to help the campus community further recognize what the VPFO does and how our work supports all areas of the university to make UBC’s academic mission possible. The project will be an extension of elements of the parent UBC Brand, and include a visual toolkit and identity guideline, followed by an implementation strategy and plan.

VPFO digital transformation
The goal of this project is to transform VPFO’s existing digital ecosystem into a cohesive, streamlined set of tools where audiences can effectively complete their tasks and do the business of the university. One of these tools will be a unified WordPress multisite instance, as well as a building and spaces database.
