External Channels
Go public
UBC has a variety of “owned” public-facing channels. The university also regularly targets “earned” channels that are completely outside of the organization, like media outlets.
These channels are ones we can use to disseminate information from within our portfolio to the peers, partners, and the public beyond the gates.

The main university homepage is a high profile channel for telling the many diverse stories of the UBC community.

UBC social media
The university has a set of central social media channels that are used to post content and engage different audiences online.

UBC News and the media
UBC has a Media Relations team dedicated to producing interesting content, arranging expert commentary, pitching stories to media outlets, and managing issues of public interest.

The Ubyssey
Stories in The Ubyssey generate widespread coverage throughout campus are considered in the public realm.
