Internal Channels: UBC

Get the word out

We speak with audiences in the wider UBC community when we need to affect how the university is operating, and when we have great stories to share. Sharing our successes will not only illustrate the role we play at UBC, but allow for greater understanding of how our portfolio contributes and adds value to the university’s academic mission.

While these channels are not managed by the VPFO, we can use these channels to share information from within our portfolio to our surrounding campus community.

UBC Today

UBC Today is a website for all faculty and staff. It contains regular updates, announcements, and stories, as well as event listings, key dates, and useful resources.

UBC Broadcast

UBC Broadcast is used to communicate key, time-sensitive, campus-wide messaging to faculty, staff and students via email.

UBC Bulletin

UBC Bulletin is used to communicate key institutional messaging to inform and engage broader leadership via email.

UBC digital signage

Digital Signage provides a powerful and highly visible opportunity to communicate messages across the university and engage with UBC audiences.

UBC Okanagan channels

UBC’s Okanagan has several channels that are used exclusively to inform students, faculty, and staff audiences on that campus.

Faculty and staff communications

There are countless ways to reach different groups at UBC, and many faculties and administrative have their own internal channels that the general community might not be aware of.
