What we’re asking

Are you prepared for an earthquake or major emergency? The UBC Emergency Management team invites UBC Faculty and staff to an online Earthquake Preparedness Workshop this summer. We would like your help with promoting this workshop to increase our community’s resilience and personal preparedness.

Are you earthquake ready? Join a free workshop on June 13

In Vancouver, we are at risk of significant emergencies, including large earthquakes. Join a personal emergency preparedness workshop designed for UBC Faculty and staff, hosted by Jackie Kloosterboer, Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Support Services Specialist. 

This workshop will introduce simple steps you can take now to stay safe, prepare your space, and respond effectively if an emergency happens. You’ll also hear from UBC’s Emergency Management team about Emergency Management at UBC and their exciting projects aimed to increase disaster resilience.
