Campaign Overview
With the recent developments regarding U.S. tariffs, we would like to encourage the UBC community to consider purchasing from Indigenous businesses.
The UBC Indigenous Strategic Plan outlines goals to advance UBC’s Indigenous priorities, including implementing an Indigenous procurement strategy which prioritizes the provision of goods and services from Indigenous businesses and vendors. UBC Faculty and staff can find Indigenous vendors using the UBC Indigenous Business Directory and following the step-by-step guide for purchasing.
Please visit UBC’s Finance portal (CWL required) for more information regarding supporting Indigenous suppliers and navigating U.S. tariffs.
To support the UBC community, we encourage you to share this information to faculty and staff on both the UBC Vancouver and Okanagan campus.
