UBC Alert Testing January 17

What we’re asking

UBC Alert will be sending out a test notification to UBC Vancouver and Okanagan students, faculty, and staff via a phone call and text message on Friday, January 17, 2025.

UBC Alert is the university’s mass notification system used to send alerts in urgent situations that pose an immediate safety or security risk to the community. We would like to remind UBC students, faculty, and staff to make sure their contact information is up to date in Workday to ensure they receive UBC Alerts

This is also a good opportunity to remind UBC students, faculty, and staff to download and turn on push notifications on our UBC Safe app, which can be downloaded for the Vancouver or Okanagan campus.
